Nick and Jaki attended the same high school but never really spoke to one another until they shared a kiss at a concert a couple of years after graduating. After dating for a few years and then going their separate ways, they quickly found their way back to each other and have been happy together ever since.
On 9th February 2019, the happy couple tied the knot in front of 85 of their closest friends and family on the grounds of the whimsical and romantic Albion Farm Gardens. Jaki says they chose this location for their wedding day as “it was naturally so beautiful, and the reception hall across the road was just perfect, as it was a blank canvas where we could create a unique reception party. We loved the idea of having the ceremony and reception at the same place, so that our guests didn’t have to travel and we also wanted them to have something to do while we were having our photos taken. Kate (from Albion Farm) printed maps of the grounds, espresso martini’s were served and guests had time to explore the gardens before making their way to the reception hall”.
The couple’s special day had a festival vibe, with teepees in the outdoor area of the reception, lawn games, serve your own drinks and cocktail style food. Nick and Jaki shared their first dance together to “Latch” by Sam Smith, chosen by Nick which Jaki describes as “the perfect love song, whilst not being too mushy (definitely not our style), and also being a song that we all know as the fast dance song with Disclosure”.
Nick and his groomsmen looked handsome in their Studio Italia Icon Marine suits and Bell & Barnett white French cuff shirts. To set himself apart from his groomsmen, Nick opted for a three piece suit and Collezione paisley ivory tie and paisley champagne ties for the groomsmen.
When asked about the couple’s experience with Rundle Tailoring, Jaki tells us “Fabulous, the boys were served by the lovely Clare, who took care of their every need, made sure they all looked amazing and felt good – so that no one was uncomfortable. The boys felt relaxed and comfortable having their suits fitted and looked so handsome on the day”.
Rundle Wedding Tip:-
Make sure all the groomsmen are wearing appropriate dress socks on the day, no ankle socks, so that when you are sitting down there is one continuous line of colour. For a bit of fun and quirkiness, you could opt for matching socks with a funky design or bold colour.
