The Beatles fever hit breaking point this week as Paul McCartney, arguably the biggest rock star in the world touched down for his first ever live performance in Newcastle, Australia. The buzz of the city has been electric and we are still riding on a high from the once in a lifetime chance moment when Andrew seized the moment to meet Sir Paul McCartney and give him one of our John Lennon x English Laundry shirts when he pulled up near Rundle Tailoring on the day of the concert! Our beautiful city came alive with Mitch Revs painting an epic mural on the corner of Stewart Ave & Hunter Street across the road from Rundle Tailoring. The mural is Mitch’s biggest yet, an explosion of colour and features some of Paul’s best-loved songs that he spent the last month perfecting. It is so good that Paul McCartney himself made time in his touring schedule to see it in the flesh and meet our celebrated Novocastrian artist Mitch Revs and personally add a happy face and sign the wall.
