Since 2019, our incredible local wedding celebrants Monty Haron & Monty King aka The 2 Monty’s, known for their huge hearts, expert wedding celebrant skills and love of having a laugh have been orchestrating an extraordinary charity wedding auction giving one lucky couple the chance to bid on a dream wedding package all for charity.
Harnessing the power of community over competition they rally each year to get donations from some epic local wedding vendors who donate a whole wedding package to be auctioned off for charity. From the rings, photographers, wedding outfits to the venue, they put together a whole wedding package to be auctioned with the highest bidders getting everything organised for their wedding day and 100% of the cost being donated to charity.
We are thrilled to be part of the annual 2 Monty’s charity auction, which is fast approaching again this year being held at The Anchorage, Port Stephens on Sunday 14th of February (Valentines Day) with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation centre for brain cancer research.
