Celebrating the women who shape our lives

Tailored Together is our International Women’s Day initiative honouring the women who have shaped Rundle Tailoring, the ones who create our suits, and the ones who proudly wear them. It’s a celebration of connection, craftsmanship and community. Because for 118 years, women have been at the heart of Rundle Tailoring — through generations of craftsmanship, leading and guiding the business, or supporting us as customers. Under fourth-generation ownership of Andrew and Bronwyn Rundle, we continue to support women through partnerships with local charities and community initiatives in Newcastle.

Nominate, or self-nominate, a deserving woman

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the Rundle legacy of empowering women by inviting you to nominate — or self-nominate — a woman who deserves to be seen and celebrated.

She doesn’t need a title or achievement. She might be leading, building, caring, creating, or simply always being there when it matters most. If she has made a difference in your life, we’d love to hear how.

The International Women’s Day suit giveaway

One lucky woman will win a Made-to-Measure suit experience from Rundle Tailoring, delivered with the care and attention that has defined our business for over a century. Once her suit is complete, she’ll enjoy:

  • A mini photo shoot with professional hair and makeup styling to mark the moment
  • Personal illustration by Ink + Snow, created live on the set of the shoot
  • A six-course dining experience for two at Roundhouse Restaurant (in partnership with Crystalbrook Kingsley)

The total prize package is worth over $2,500.

Inside the Rundle Tailoring Made-to-Measure experience

This incredible giveaway will allow one lucky woman to experience our tradition of bespoke tailoring and service. It includes up to three fittings at our Newcastle West showroom. Here’s a little more about what that experience entails:

First fitting

You’ll be measured up by our head tailor Andrew Rundle, who has 35 years of tailoring experience. Alongside Andrew, Bronwyn Rundle will deliver a personal style session, walking you through selecting the details of your garments.

This includes choosing your fabric from our wide selection, as well as suit style, lining, button stitching and embroidery.

Some made-to-measure outlets just wrap a tape measure around you and take your measurements for the cutter to interpret. However, Andrew will have you try on different sample fits to determine the best cut for you. This will also give you the opportunity to visualise how your suit will look before it’s made.

This sets us apart from other tailors and ensures your expectations are met.

Second fitting

After your suit is cut and stitched, you’ll return for a second fitting with Andrew. He’ll inspect everything and note any necessary adjustments, which our skilled seamstresses will make on-site. If you’re not local, enjoy a coffee on us while you wait for the alterations to be made.

Third fitting (if needed)

If required, we’ll schedule a final fitting to ensure you and Andrew are happy with the adjustments. Bronwyn will also be on hand to help you select from our range of accessories, if you’re looking for a tie, shoes, cufflinks, or pocket squares to complete your look. You’ll leave 100% satisfied!
