Step Right Up! Get Ready for a Carnival-Themed Wedding Extravaganza!

Our recent carnival-styled photo shoot captured by the exceptionally talented Chris from Under A Treehouse with video footage by Sam from SJR Media Co was a day to remember, packed with vibrant colours, stunning décor, a dreamy Cadillac from Dollface Garage and the most joyful atmosphere you can imagine. Let us take you on a wild ride through the highlights of this incredible collaboration with a talented group of Newcastle & the Hunter Valley wedding professionals.

The shoot was organised by the fabulous Jess from Coco Tanning Hair Makeup & Beauty. Not only did Jess do the stunning hair & makeup on the day but dreamt up this incredible shoot concept, organised all the fabulous vendors and made it all happen.

Set amidst the enchanting beauty of Wollombi in the Hunter Valley, we collaborated with 13 top wedding vendors to bring this incredible vision to life. The Grounds of The Woodhouse Wollombi provided an idyllic backdrop for our carnival-themed extravaganza. We had not one, but two different looks and three unique sets styled by Flamingo Flare Events (who styled the cake and floral stands in the carnival theme setting) to capture the essence of this whimsical celebration and showcase our carnival inspired wedding.

The shoot encompassed all the fun of a carnival inspiring different elements to add to your big day like a Luxe Castle Co Jumping castle adorned with a big joyful bunch of Flamingo Flare balloons or a beautifully styled picnic set up from Bella Kate Luxury Picnics, bold fun and fabulous statement florals from Wild Rosie and a stunning wedding cake by Mel Rose Cakes. Or add some joyful nostalgia with Lulu’s Gelato Company ice cream van.

Our first look featured an Uberstone Linen suit, a perfect choice for a relaxed and playful wedding atmosphere which looked incredible next to the beautiful Brides to Be Central Coast dress. The lightweight, breathable fabric is both comfortable and exudes effortless style and this suit was all about embracing the spirit of the carnival and having a blast!

For those sunny Spring/Summer celebrations, our linen suits are the ultimate choice. Caleb looked effortlessly cool in this timeless piece and the linen fabric’s natural texture created a relaxed and refined look, perfectly paired with a crisp white Brooksfield shirt. And let’s not forget the fun botanical pocket square from Peggy and Finn, adding a playful touch to the ensemble. Complete the look with your favourite loafers, and you’ll be ready to take the carnival by storm!

For the main event worthy of a big top, the second look we had Caleb dressed to impress in a custom made to measure velvet dinner jacket in a captivating aubergine hue. The richness of the colour and the luxurious texture added a touch of drama, perfectly complementing Mia’s stunning wedding gown and tying in with our carnival theme and a moment for the hot pink veil, flowers and Cadillac. Paired with a Gibson Archie shirt, black dress trousers, Joe Black bow tie and patent leather dress shoes this look was an absolute showstopper.
